‘Survivor’ Gives Rupert $1M Consolation

Did anyone watch the Survivor American’s Tribal Council show last night. I only watched a little bit of it. I saw bottom four: Rupert Boneham, Tom Buchanan, Colby Donaldson, and “Boston Rob” Mariano. Personally I was happy to see that Rupert was awarded the second $1 million dollar prize. I really wanted him to win the Survivor: All-Stars, but him winning last night really made my night. Thanks America!

Farewell ‘Friends’

So who all watched the Friends finale last night? Like I said in my previous post I was glued to the TV. So what did you all think? Overall I thought that it was a great way to end the show with a few surprises along the way, like the twins that Monica and Chandler got after only arranging to adopt one, or Joey deciding to keep his apartment instead of moving in with Monica and Chandler, or Mike and Phoebe wanting to have kinds, or how Ross chased after Rachel and ultimately got the girl. However, I’m sad that such a great show is calling it quits and won’t be back on next season. So, who’s getting all 10 seasons on DVD?

‘Friends’ Finale

Well tonight is the season finale of Friends. Is anyone going to watch it? You know I will be glued to the tube tonight. Way back in 1994 when Friends first debuted I got hooked and have been watching ever since. I can’t believe that it has been ten (10) years since the show began! Wow, how time files! I only have one question, what is going to fill the void of Friends in primetime on Thursday nights now?

Along Came Polly

This afternoon we met Kevin and Kim at the Hollywood 20 in Greenville to see Along Came Polly. What a great movie, very funny, I LMAO! It rates up there with Meet the Parents in terms of comedy. After the movie, we went across the street to dinner at TGI Friday’s for dinner followed by desert at Marble Slab in downtown.

The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King

I went and saw The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King today and what a great movie! Although it was three and a half hours long, it definitely had some good battle scenes. I can’t wait until it comes out on DVD so I can add it to my collection.

Clemson vs. North Carolina

Lets go Tigers! Clemson is going to have a tough one against North Carolina today. Lets hope that it won’t be a repeat of the last time they played North Carolina. Come on Tigers, lets get a win!

UPDATE: Wow, what a game! Clemson won 36 to 28.

Yesterday afternoon Jenn, Sean, and I were out looking for a new kitchen table. We found one that really liked at Bassett Furniture. We also checked out the a few cars Nissan 350Z, Murano, and the Mini Cooper to replaces Jenn’s car. She liked the Z but felt that she needed more than just two seats and she didn’t like the door panels on the Z. As for the Murano, it was just to big for her liking. Since she liked the Mini Cooper in the Italian Job (great movie by the way!), I decided to take her by to see one of those up close. Once she got to see one up close and get inside of it and all she immediately fell in love with it. The Cooper or the Cooper S will most likely be her next car.

After we did our looking, we met Kevin, Kim, and Katie for dinner and a movie. We went to Carrabba’s and waited for a hour and a half and there was still 3 more parties of 6 in front of us, so we left and went down the road to TGI Friday’s which was excellent. Then we went across the street to the Hollywood 20 and watched Radio since it is based on a local true store at T.L. Hanna High School (which is a team that Easley plays). It was a great movie, I will definitely be getting this one on DVD.

Great Day

Today, Jenn and I ran all around Greenville. We went to McAlister’s Deli for lunch. From there we went to the mall and did a little shopping. I got a few things including my new hat. After we finished at the mall we went to Lowe’s to look for some hanging plants and to see if out little patio set was on sale yet, unfortunately it wasn’t. Next we went to Target to see if we could find anything there, but we came out empty handed. Since it was still early in the day we decided to go see the matinee showing of Secondhand Lions, which was very good by the way. And finally, we went to a restaurant that we’ve never been to before. It’s called Flat Rock and did it hit the spot for something different. As you can see I’ve had a fun filled weekend, but best of all it was great to be able to spend time with Jenn.

Legends Died Today
