Family Reunion, Part II

This morning Jenn and I were both up by 8:30. As a matter of fact I believe we were downstairs in the lobby of the hotel by 9:30 or so. The agenda for today was pretty simple, to do nothing! Jenn wanted to go to the mall but we were without a car because Cassie had taken my aunt Margret to get her hair done. So Jenn wanted to take a taxi to the mall and get some lunch and hopefully my parents could come get us and take us back. Personally, I didn’t want to spend the $20 to go six miles to the mall, pretty expensive trip if you ask me. So, my dad and I managed to convince Jenn just to wait until Cassie got back with the car and then we would go get lunch. Once Cassie got back we had to get my mom to get going so we could get something to eat and get dropped off at the mall.
We went to lunch at one of Jenn’s favorite places in the south, Sticky Fingers. My mom and I had the BBQ Pork sandwich, Jenn had the chicken fingers, and my dad had the half of chicken. When we left lunch Jenn didn’t want to go to the mall because it wasn’t that nice, a little run down, OK a lot run down. So we decided to just got with my parents to the gorcery store and get the stuff we needed for the finger foods that would be serverd later that night. We got all kinds of food plus a bunch of beer, probably 8 cases.
After we got back to the hotel and unloaded the car Jenn was recruited to help make some of the things that would be served tonight. I stayed down in the ballroom for a little while, but only to go back to the room and watch some TV and rest a little while. Later I came back down and they had just about finished everything. Once they were finished Jenn and I went back up to the room and started to get ready for dinner. Around 6:00 pm Seth got there. By the time Jenn was almost ready and both Seth and I needed to get ready for the ‘meet and greet’ from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm.
We stayed down there until 9:00 pm and then decided that we wanted to go get some dinner since we didn’t do that before hand. We went back over towards the mall and at dinner at Outback. When we got back to the hotel it was close to 11:00. Seth then went out with his friends from Clemson and got back some time around 2:30 am. We had left the light on in the bathroom with the door closed so that there was just a little beam of light coming through so Seth could see when he got in. Some how he managed to let the door slam hard when he came in too. He got into bed and left the light on for a while until it woke up back up and he turned it off. I was damned if I was going to get up and turn it off.
