Mac OS X On Your PC
Posted by Zane under: Technology .
I’ve long wanted OS X, but didn’t want to fork over the money for a Mac, my personally opinion is that they are quite expensive. Previously OS X users could run Microsoft’s Virtual PC software, which now includes a version of Windows, on their Mac’s. However, Windows and Linux users can now do the reverse. Released last week, PearPC is the first software emulator to allow OS X to run on an Intel or AMD based machine. It is about time that the roles have been reversed!

I hate to say this but the P4 Intel chips won’t benefit from having the access to such a great OS. OS X was written for a 64 bit architecture and the P4 do not have that. Although if you are running a P4 +HT you could be sitting pretty
